Default 2000 honda accord CD player

hey everyone does anyone know why my cd player (stock) doesn't play burned cd's? It only plays the old blue crystal CD-R's, but for some reason not the new one's......anyone with some knowledge of this please respond....

I can't tell you the reason, other than old technology. Using strictly CD-R's for recording music, sticking with high-quality brands (Memorex, Maxell), and making sure you close the recording session are 3 suggestions that have helped me. I have about a 75% success rate on newly recorded CD-R's playing in my 2000 Accords...

Besides using good quality* CD-Rs, use low burnspeeds. Or buy a good aftermarket CD player...

* good quality = made in Japan, check the label for where they were made anytime you buy CD-Rs.
