if your motor is still running, but runs like crap is there still plently of life left in it?
I don't want to have to buy a new motor, and spend all that time and energy on it. Is there a simple way to simply tune up your old motor? I have heard adjusting the valves (timing) is the best thing. Do you think that could be all my motor needs? And maybe an oil change / engine flush. It just runs a little jumpy. Somtimes after driving it for a while, when I go to slow down at a stop light, after I come to a complete stop it's still up a 2,000 rpm. When I engage the clutch a little without pushing the gas, I can bring the idle down back to 1,000 but it feels rougher than it was 2,000. Could this be timing? Anyway thats it
its a 90 dx I will post pics of the motor and stuff later, but right now im getting it painted, so I can't really work on it. If the tune up doesnt fix it then mby an SOHC zc with MPFI. =]
