Default stock p28 into stock gsr

i just bought another 95 teg gsr for my daily car. so my friend was in need for the p72 ecu so i let him borrow it and slapped in a stock p28 ecu into my gsr. should that turn on the check engine light?

probably.. a stock p28 is for a single cam motor. your car probably won't run right either.

i would get the p72 back.

Your car will run very lean with a stock p28, you could damage your motor. Get your p72 back or get the p28 chipped asap

no offense but i dont know why so many people think a p28 will run anything

i mean its for a 1.6l sohc engine with 127hp and a d series at that what makes people think it will run things like a gsr 1.8l dohc engine with 170hp

A SOHC ECU will not properly run a DOHC engine. Especially not a CIVIC economy ECU running an Integra higher end motor.
