Help Clutch troubles
I recently converted my car to manual (91 hatch). All the clutch components are new (pp, release bearing, pilot bearing, clutch disc, and cable)The clutch was fine for a while, but then it started getting really hard to push and engaging really close to the floor. so i adjusted it and it was fine for a couple of weeks, then it did it again. I orderd a new clutch thinking there was something wrong internally but before i tore it down I got my boss to look at it (hes a mechanic). He adjusted it again and said that there is nothing wrong inside. Its alot better now goes in to all the gears fine no griinding (use to grind in reverse) but the pedal is still pretty hard to push. I did a search and found out that all civics are like this when you use an after market cable. Any ideas will be appreciated im at the point of pulling the tranny and re-doing it all again. shuld i just try replacing the cable first and c what happens?
Thanks
Thanks
