I hate to do this to supposedly a friend. Here it goes you guys take judgement. I use to own a 92 cx hatchback with a b16 and a Full-Race turbo kit. I moved away from Central Cali (**** hole Fresno) and could no longer keep my hatch. So, I needed to sell it and my friend Jason (KAJ honda-tech member) offered to buy it from me. So, we worked out the agreement and he paid me majority of the money up front and said he would pay me the last $1000.00 in payments if I wouldn't mind. I told him since we are friends I trust you. This was two years ago that this deal was made. I have yet to see the last payment nor any type of installments. I know he has had a very difficult time with his financial situation so, I gave him more time and it still lead to nothing. Every time I would ask for the payment he said he would try to send me something next month because he is getting a 2nd job. I was like ok no big deal it's Kaj and he is good for it. IT'S BEEN TWO DAMN YEARS NOW!!!!!
The last time I heard from him was through AIM two weeks ago when I was in Fresno. I told him I was in town and ofcourse I asked for the payment he said he was going to call me and bring me over $200.00 dollars after he was done with dinner. I didn't hear nothing from him that night or thereafter. I have tried contacting him through honda-tech pm's, Aol instant messanger, emailing him through yahoo and even going to his website he manages FresnoRacing.com and I have yet to get an answer. I'm tried of hearing all the excuses now that is why I'm posting up on here. I emailed him a few days ago and told him if i don't hear back from him I will post him up as a scammer. I have yet to hear from him so, here I am.
It sucks to see him selling stuff on here and trying to buy new stuff when he owes me money. If you look up KAJ's posts and you will always see my name on his postings asking for him to return my pm's or emails. No answers
I'm sorry for this long post everyone but I just wanted to let everyone know that I got screwed over. (if these items looks familiar it's because our mutual friend Reilly honda-tech memeber is selling the turbo parts now)

Did you give him the title knowing he owed you $1000. still. If you did then you better count that cash as a loss. I know you dont want to hear that. But Its been 2 years. Do you really think he is going to pay up??? Man Go to his house and Collect $1000 in cash, parts, or his ***!!

Friend or not, you keep the title until it is paid, period. I am sorry you had to learn this way, but think of it as a thousand dollar lesson on life.

Say I understand where your coming from. Im NOT calling you stupid or anything. What your friend did could have happen to anyone here on the boards. But If I were you I would At least confront him face to face. I mean. He really isnt tring to pay you.Some people out there in the world need a little Motivation. And that motivation can be YOU in there Face explaining How Bad you need the Money or How Bad you Plan On taking the Money from him.

i was on the same predicament before. Trying to help a friend out by giving him my crx while he makes payments.....never heard from him after changing his phone # and moved out of the area. Did not recieve a single cent

Here is my reply from FSR, but besides that, IMO a deal between friends that goes bad is FAR from a scammer situation. I think everybody at some point in their life has had things go bad in a deal between friends.

I can't tell you how many times I defended you about **** locally Tom, about cars, deals, racing, your old set-up, etc. You know how things are around here. Yeah, I feel pretty stupid now.

1st, I think it's Bullshit for you to come on and do all of this without talking to Jay about it fist...ie:"Jay you need to pay me or I will go and deface you on public forums..etc." Because there is always alot more to a story that what you initially see on the internet.

2nd, it's the 1st I have heard of you being so upset about it. Jay didn't tell me that you were to this point about it.

3rd, I don't appreciate you putting me out there in all of this, when I did nothing, but it makes me look bad. It makes me look bad selling/buying, and I did nothing. Thats fucked.

4th, Jay is dynoing his car so it will run to drive to work to make money, that's it. As for paying you, he and I have made trades on parts and I have floated him THOUSANDS of $$ of merchandise so he can try and sell parts he doesn't want and so he can pay YOU off. That is why I have posted the Manifold up for sale for him..........so I guess by making me look bad, it's costing YOU money.

5th, You should have spoken to me or Ryan about this before going to this point if you think you can't get ahold of Jay or something, since I don't understand why you would go to this extent otherwise. You know we run this board, were are on H-T. ****, you even bumped my post, but didn't say **** to me, or PM me about it.

I could simply delete this and you, but that's not the point. It's wrong the way you handled it.

I think it's wrong that Jay hasn't paid you, but I also know his personal situations, so I know why he hasn't, but I think he would have made more of an effort if he knew how bad off your were about it. Last I knew, you wanted the B16 head he had, but he wasn't sure if he would need it. Like I said, I haven't been involved in the discussions about the money owed, so I can't comment on that any more than I know.

Wow, I guess you haven't really talked to him about this. I have pm's from April and a recent email saved about trying to resolve this situation. I never got a single response to anything.

hey robert, I did intend for you to get involved nor ryan in a negative way. I was merely making a statement about how I sold off this car two years ago and he has moved on to something else and hasn't fullfilled a old debt. I'm sorry it came out that way but you must understand the frustration I have about something that should have been handled a long time ago. I consulted jason plenty of times about paying me. I even wrote him a warning email before doing this post about him. He didn't respond to me through email, calling me, aim, pm on honda-tech etc. I have pm's on honda-tech which jason never responded to and my last email I had sent to him before the thread.

Why did he tell me he was going to come to my house when I was in Fresno two weeks ago and pay me $200.00??? (When we did talk through aim) He never called me or made any type of attempt to drop off the money to my parents house. He even asked me for my house number and where my parents live.


I wrote this email to him to his yahoo acct July 20, 2005.

Hey Jason,

I don't know why your not reponding to my emails, pm's on aim or honda-tech and not calling when you told me you would. I told you I was going to be in Fresno and you told me you were going to call me and come by to give me $200.00 out of the $1000.00 you still owe me from a car deal I sold you two years ago. I'm tired of hearing of you say that your going to pay. This has been on going for almost two years.
I keep tabs on your posts on honda-tech to see if you buying stuff instead of paying me. I see that you bought many things since I've sold you the car. I see you selling a lot of stuff as well and that money could come to me. Anyhow the length of this email shows how important this matter is to me. I want to get this resolved if I can't I'm going to have to make a post about this bullshit. I hope to hear from you by July 22, 2005.

#3 I'm sorry for what it counts. I don't have anything against any of you guys, but you have to understand that I waited a damn long time patiently.

#4 I was bumping your post because I would love for you to sell it. I show no type of anger or resentment towards you. If I knew it was Jason's kit I would have offered to take it off his hands and deduct the $1000.00 he owned me and payed him for the rest. Like I did with that cylinder head but that deal fell through.

I DO understand where you are coming from, I had a friend owe me something for about that long too.

Like I said, I wish you would have tried going through friends first if you are willing to go to the extent of posting on the internet about it, from a personal stand point. When deals are made amongst friends, things can go bad. To my knowledge, Jay has never scammed anyone.

I do wish you wouldn't have mention me or my for sale post though. Even though not directly called the one being the problem, we all know how one can be condemned by association alone, especially on the internet. Thanks for recognizing that.

I would have never thought he scammed anyone either from knowning him on a friend basis.
I'm not sure what terminology to use if he didn't scam me????? (screw over your own friend who gave you a two year time span who waited very PATIENTLY without payment) I'm just stating the facts.

Robert I hope you understand I've been trying to get a hold of him and no response but yet he can keep on posting and ignoring all my messages like it's not a big deal.
