Fuel Problems at Half Tank Everytime
Ok, this is getting annoying, I have a 90 Accord EX with 201K, everytime I hit a half tank, my car stops getting gas, it starts shuttering, not wanted to start when I make turns it cuts off etc etc.... but when I fill it, perfectly fine. What the heck is going on with this damn thing?
Recently, I replaced cap, rotor, plugs, wires, fuel filter, pcv, and cleaned the injectors. I can't think of what could be doing this besides maybe the wrong fuel pump being in the car but I wanna make sure it not something else thats real stupid

Yea, its annoying me too, I don't know what it could be... I know its something to do with the gas tank or pump but I wanna see if anyone else had this problem before. I would just drop the tank but I wanna know before I do that... I never have time to fix stuff so when I do its gotta be right the first time basically

I don't know how these fuel systems or set up, but it could be a weak or dead in-tank pump. Some cars have two fuel pumps: one in the tank to prime the line and then a main pump closer to the engine which actually pressurizes the business-end of the system. In the event of an in-tank pump failure, there is sometimes enough pressure to get fuel up the line when the tank is full. As the fuel level falls, so does the hydrostatic pressure at the pickup and fuel no longer gets to the main pump. I'm new to Accords, but that's where I'd put my money based on the symptoms.
yo ex on the 2 fuel pumps issue i would not bet too much if i were you ............
yo dropped,,,,, remove fuel pump and chk the sock make sure it is not partially plugged ,,,sometimes when fuel pumps wear down you get metallic particles in the sock and it partially gets plugged ,,,,if there are metallic particles you need fuel pump anyho it is just a matter if time for it to go kaput
