or the relay. my friends DA had a bad relay; the fan would kick in for no reason well after the car was turned off.

i tested my fan.. my fan works.. but im not sure if the fan is actually coming on while i am driving.. i let the car sit and idle for 30 minutes and not once did the fan turn on.. it was a hot day and the needle never made it up to the middle..
it has never coolant and Redline water wetter.. but my car overheats mysteriously and looses coolant internally and burns it up.. i just want to go through all the possible cheaper smaller options before i get to the headgasket.

someone should make as ticky with all the overheating info in it
it might be your busted up thermostat like stated above
your relay might be fucked
your headgasket might be goign ,t hats why you would be burning coolant
I anything, wire up a stich to keep your fan on nonstop or stock whenever you want to, there must be a writeup on it somwhere. when your ca ris idling, reve the engine form inside the engine bay and look around for any smoke , maybe you have a ruptured coolant line and it pissing mad coolant onto your blow causing it to burn off.

ok..so i checked and tested the fan motor.. it works.. i tested the fan relay.. it works.. now all i have left is the radiator fan switch that is on the back of the head which requires draining the coolant which i really dont want to do..but i guess i might have too..
any clues that would let me know if the radiator fan switch isnt working without taking it out????
