Default Converting a from 0bd0 to obd1

i was wondering exactly what parts i need in order to convert my b16 from obd0 to obd1. Also how much does this usually cost. the main reason I am doing this is because i am running super rich and have tried everything else, hopefully this will solve my problem. Any input is apreciated

well #1 search cause this has been covered 1 million times..... but
u'll need:
conversion harness-about $110
ecu- price ranges depends on ecu
4 wire o2 sensor- $50 bucks used
obd1 dizzy- about $110 area, unless bought new
I don't think i missed anything, but anyone else can chime in

You can do the wiring yourself if you have the time and patience.

curious to why you need an obd1 distributor, you dont need a obd1 dist when you convert from obd2 to obd1.

Because both the OBD-1 and 2 distributor fire 24 times per revolution while the OBD-0 only fires 16 times.

just out of curiosity, why don't you buy an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and just lower your fuel pressure that way?

I'm in the process of doing the conversion also, but don't you need the plugs from the obd1 harness to pull into the obd1 distrubutor. You have the obd1 distrubutor plugs onto your obd0 harness, right?

if your timing belt tensioner is loose and your timing belt is loose that means that you bent your valves.

i'm getting a new block, i took out my spark plugs and saw that they were flooded with oil , also figured out it was the water pump that took a **** not the tensioner. i get a break from work and school starting friday going to pull the motor.
