i bought a 92 zc engine and dropped it into my 90 crx. I bought a new dizzy and can't make it work !! on the dizzy there's 2 wires for cam sensor and 5 for the dizzy, well on my wiring harness i a total of 9 wires, again 2 for the cam sensor and 7 for the dizzy, now what do i do with the 2 wires left ?

 

u have to rewire the distro, seems liek u have an si harness, and the distro plugs are diff then on the ZC..

 

What wiring harness are you using?

You should always use the harness that came with the car and make any needed changes to the harness to fit the motor.

 

ya i figured that out, but how do i do rewire the dizzy? don' t i have to wire up the 2 blue wires to the ecu ? and can someone guide me to how to do so ?

 

If it's a 92 ZC, you just bought yourself an OBD1 motor. You'll have to convert your OBD0 car to OBD1. If you have just a normal CRX and not an Si, you'll first have to convert to mpfi.

 

i did a writeup on this a while back... you need to pop out the wires with a punch (i use the contact stick of a multmeter) and you take i dont remember if they are blue or not?a nd extend them(hell electrical tape works fine!for a bit... but ide recomend solder / crimp) if you need i can run out and take some pictures of our zc and the wiring and how the last idiot CUT all the wires : (
