Alleys work real well, especially those with focused lighting, such as street lamps, nothing with too much like, just enough to tease whatever you're showing, even if its the whole car.

 

any place that's really well lit.

there are no allys around were i live.............. i tried a parking lot tonight but it didnt work out to well.... the pictures were kinda shitty

the kind of camera you have could cause shitty pictures also,..shitty cameras suck at taking pictures at night,..what camera are you using?

W3RD. Let the juices flow so to speak... Find someplace that looks interesting, give the people something worth looking at. There are 794567463205138 new posts in the A/C forum everyday, so find an interesting spot that will focus the attention on your car (color/contrast/lighting/placement of background is more important than you may realize) but will also give the viewer a reason to remember it, or ****, maybe set it as their desktop! w00t desktop pr0ps y0!!

 

just go drive around at nite dogg. like dude said above be creative... you'll find some spots

invest in a tripod (even a cheap one is better than nothing)

 

tripod + as much light as possible

Dont just park in the middle of a lot under some dumb light post, look for something cool.

Heres a night shot I took of Nytmairs civic.



The building had light on top and shooting down, instead of up, so he parked it under. As you can tell by the white spots however, getting good lighting at night is hard.
