have any of you ever had your power steering leaking from near the arm of the car. my leak isn't from the rack, its where the rubber booth is and i dont really want to spend 300 to fix it. any advice...thanks

 

If fluid leaking out from the boot, then eventully the rack-n-pinion itself is already leaking.

 

Just get rid of the power streering, you get a better feel for the car.

 

yeah, i took my power steering out for 6 months and did that loop around trick, but it was too hard to steer..the only thing i dont get about the auto to manual steering is the resevoir part..I understand the T ing part, but my powersteering is leaking which defeats the purpose of a resevoir, im assuming the resevoir contains fluid, wouldn't it leak out..it would be a big help if you guys can explain to me bout the resevoir and whats in it and where to buy it thanks or else its 300 i gotta spend and i spent so much already after completing the jdm conversion...thankss

 

Bullshit. My car is easy to handle and all I did was rip out the power steering and put a loop in. Still have the power steering column.
