Default 92 Integra... is it worth $6000???

A friend of mine is looking to buy a 2nd gen teg like mine and we found a 92 that is really nice. The body is absolutely mint. Factory paint, absolutely NO HONDA CANCER... I couldn't believe my eyes. The body has 112K on it. It has a B16A with a GSR tranny. Comes with a 7" or 8" LCD screen on the dash... an AFC... aftermarket tach... and he claims the motor only has about 40K on it. It sounds real nice, doesn't smoke... has full Greddy Exaust with DC Sport Headers...
That's about all I can think of now.
Anyway, this kid is asking $6000 and my friend offered him $4600... What do you think it's worth. I know it's tough without pictures but just imagine a Blingin' *** Red teg with a swap and all the other bullshit I mentioned. The body is amazing clean.
Thanks guys!

that's way too much. there's way better deals for 6k. For the DA I would offer around 4k max for it.

If he spent a wad on his car, then too bad for him. a stock DA with reasonable mileage is under $3k. maybe it'd be worth $4-5k with a nice suspension setup and light wheels and good tires with lots of tread left.

for 6K you could buy a DC chassis Integra. So....no the DA is not worth 6K in my opinion....

that's true man. that car worth 3500 at most. stupid people spend money on modding their cars and want to make all their money back.. aint happening. a car with 10k worth of parts is worth maybe like 6k-7k only depending on how dumb the buyer is.

think about it like this; say your friend bought that car for 4000. but he can get the same car stock for around 2800. would he spend the extra 1200 on the mods this dude did? hell no. everyone is different. the only time i would even thinking about paying CLOSE to what the parts is worth is if 99% of the parts were EXACTLY what i woulda put in myself..

besides man motor swap = it was raced, abused, and it wont pass smog. so deduct 300 for the smog. and watch once you buy it there's gonna be a whole bunch of problems, and no mechanic really wants to work on it cuz it got swap and you're screwed

The only DA worth $6,000 is the one filled with women ready to follow your every wish, plus a blank check signed and written to your name.

yeah nobody wants someone else's problems. who knows what kind of nitpicky quirks that car has. you don't want to deal with it do you? not worth the money compared to what else is out there.

6K for a 92 is too much. But I'm going to guess that some kid is going to buy it because it has a swap and all that other stuff.

man swaps are overated. i sold my b18a crx with a bunch of mods on it for 1700. to me that was a fair price even though i spent 4 grand total on the car and drove it for only 6 months.

No DA is worth 6000 unless it has been totally restored and everything works 100% fine on it. I would throw 4000 at THE MOST for it and that's if everything is good on it.

my buddy ended up offering him 4000 for the car and the kid got insulted and said hell no... this was about 5 days ago... today my buddy gets a call from the kid saying he would let it go for 4,400 and my friend just laughed and hung up the phone
