Im 24..lol that might play a part. I live in MN, so the season is shorter. I also have a rediculously clean driving record, married, child, 3 cars, 2 life insurance policys and the bike all with statefarm. Im in the best bracket you can be in. Still i pay like $18 a month, which kicks ***..lol

by your name i assume you ride a 750? if so thats a pretty big difference in insurance eyes on the rates. I pay $18 a month for any 600cc bike, and it was like $48 a month for a 750.

Just go get a quote from State Farm, you will be surprised...My auto insurance company that I have 3 cars under wanted like 1200 for 6 months from me until I gave state farm a ring and now I'm paying less than 500 a year full coverage.
I pay $78 a year for min coverage on an 03 GSXR 1000.
The best part about having something that's paid for is that you don't have to pay for full insurance coverage.

that seems fine..
me i got my insuranc at netquote..much cheaper.
its fully automated insurance quote system..and its free..
you just plug in your info and the system automatically matches your information to companies with services that most closely meet your insurance needs. Those selected insurance companies process your request and contact you via email, fax, or phone with a quote.

I'm 19 ... my quote from progressive.com was $6k/year

that's a sweet insurance quote. I couldn't find anyone cheaper than 5500/yr for full coverage on my 03 F4i. I'm 20, with a clean record and MSF. So, i'd take that deal if you can't get anything cheaper.
It helps if u :
1) have 2 or more cars insured with them and bike is not primary transportation.
2) Are married.
3) are with same insurance co as your family that has good driving record.
4) have not filed claims before.
5) live in a good area.
7) have a bike that is not the newest or biggest and is not a crotch rocket.
8) have been with ins co for awhile.
9) don't have a popular bike for thieves.
I'm gonna stop here, wasn't trying to make a top ten list.

Progressive is the biggest scam on the planet. I pay 600 a year right now for my 1000. I am 27, 11 years licensed and no points, married and have children. I figured I would give progressive a shot because of all of the commercials and got this.

Needless to say, I will be sticking with USAA.
