I have a friend up here that doesnt believe that a gsr motor in a rex will hit 13's
Well, a B16 in one is a mid-high 14 second car with bolt-ons, so why would a GS-R equipped one be a second faster stock??
i have a friend that hit 13.9 in a 92 hatch full interior and with only headers and intake on his gsr.

as for you TypeR0207; do the math. Look at the difference in the spec's. From there common sense just might come in to play.

well u have to see, what kind of gsr it is....a usdm or jdm. Us one has 170 and the other 180...and the b16a is 160. so if u have a us gsr you will only run like .2-3 faster, so it will only be mid to low 14's. Now if you have a jdm gsr u should be in low 14's or high 13's. and if you are not at sea level u will run slower and might not break into 13's. just really depends on alot of small things, but it is possible.

its not .2-3 faster from reallife situations ive had.
its much faster than that.
as i have a b16a+tranny JDM.
and im upgrading to b18c1 USDM. gonna build the head before i put her in though. so i'll hopefully be hittin low 13's the day i bolt it in. my b16a just dont cut it. ive driven both in exact setups in cars and most definately will be breakin off all u b16a users
.
example:
crxsi 91 + USDM b18c1+b16a JDM tranny. S1 i believe. whichever one has close gear ratios stock clutch. = 13.988 1/4
crxsi91 + JDM b16a+same tranny and stock clutch.. = 14.5 1/4
both full interior. both on stock 14inch 91 si rims.
all the normal bolt ons.
and dont git me wrong. my b16 pulls nice. but for less $$$ i can make my USDM b18c1 faster.
just what ive seen. every setup is different.

Newb telling ME how fast a car can run ........ I don't see HIM getting a Type R into the 13's with stock cams, compression and internals .........

hmmm...back in the day, my cousin's crx hit 14.0's consistent....his setup was a stock gsr motor, (no work done yet) some semi slicks that were pretty bad, suspension sucked and unlightened car. i'm pretty sure its possible
