Im interested in buying a car that is not yet running but has a lot of parts i am interested in.

Here is the list of everything.

VTEC controller-New
Tenzo R seats-New
Front strut bar-New
rear strut bar-New
rear lower st. bar-New
ingles camber kit-New
full bushing kit-New
sway bars-New
JDM rear bumper
radiator-New
B16a
B16 tran w/lsd
jdm hood-dented
jdm fenders- rough shape but lights are in good cond.
JDM frt bumper-rough shape but useable

also included is a 91 civic hatch shell with nothing in it.

When i look at all these parts that are in new or good cond it looks like a good deal. nothing is together so i would be able to but it together myself and know that it is dont right. but. there are still some thing that i would need to get if i bought this car and wanted to build. such as all the interior pieces. carpet, gas tank, shift linkage, molding paint tires coolant hoses ect.

Are all these parts including the shell worth 4500$ when it still needs a lot of minor parts estimated at 750-1000$ to finish? Thanks in advance

 

In my opinion, I would never pay 4500 for a shell. Especially an EF shell. Even with all those parts, I still wouldn't pay that much. Just my two cents.

he might see that if he had a hype R in it.

offer him 2500 at MOST.

 

For that much you should ask him if you can get months worth of whatever he is smoking.

 

Sorry, guys. i think my post was confusing. he is offereing to sell me all those part plus the shell for 4500. i priced all these parts withought shell if i wanted to buy them and estimated shipping. What i came up for how much it could be worth at most shipping included is around 8K. he even has a lot of extra stuff for the car such as the jdm front suspension set up the jdm steering column etc. he will also through in a R&D exhaust and some after market lugs small but it still adds up. he also has a lot of reciepts for most everything. i hope this clears up my original post. Is it worth it?

i say thats alot but i get where your coming from.. ef parts are getting more rare by the minute and plus if you get a stock hatch and put those parts in your gonna end up spending more than you would of with this one..i say if you like it..get it

 

Yeah im mpost likely going to get it. He also has some small things such as a R&D exhaust and some light lugs?? adds up. the thig is. he bought all these parts and never finished nor put any into one piece. He got the engine from H Motors online 2 years ago and never ran it. i know that h motors online will garetee a motor. but...its been 2 years. how do they know that the motor was sitting. it c0ould have been at the the drag strip every wednesday for all they know. any other ideas.
