Someone did a RWD 4th gen, it was on HondaPrelude.com when that site was still up. I think the successor site is absoluteprelude.com, you might search the setups there.

Kinda sounds like you don't know what you're talking about. Hondas aren't drift cars anyway. If you want to do that, get a 240 or a rx7 or something.

Anyway, yeah, it can be done. Is it worth it? No.

nothing like spending some crazy amount of money to make a part-time AWD system work on your car...

RWD prelude is about as gay as a $3 bill.

I agree. You don't want weight on your driven rear wheels if you want to drift. Putting the engine back there would, <gasp> make it corner, accelerate, and brake better. That's the last thing you want for drifting... think about that.

This isn't a rear wheel drive prelude - but this is one bad *** prelude located here in indianapolis. IIP(indy import performance) project car.

A RWD Prelude would not be gay it'll be the best Honda ever made other than the NSX.

But to spend that much money and R&D would be too much and not worth it. But lets' say a shop can do it for a reasonable price or honda made a 6th gen RWD version we all would be drooling over it.

exaclty..thats the reason maybe it needs to be ask.. 240 and rx7 are too in common. maybe prelude would be worth a try for drifting. i'm kinda a prelude fan and i love my prelude than my girlfriend. the thing is i'm more into driftin so one day i might have the cheese for it. wouldnt you prelude driver be amazed if you see a prelude drifting? ha i would..

yeah prelude were heavy..they should've made it a rear drive for it's wieght.

Ever stop and think that maybe they are "too in common" for a reason? Those cars can be easily adapted to that particular genre of autosports.

This is like saying that a jeep wrangler is "too in common" for off-roading, and then bastardizing a chevy trailblazer to make a rock crawler . . . sure, it might work, but the jeep will still likely do a better job for thousands less.

you drive a honda and you're into drifing?..... you mean *** dragging!

that yellow prelude is clean, but it looks like they've got a lot to learn about drag racing...... looks more like a road race car with wheelie bars to me
