whatsup guys...i will soon be swapping a b16a2 into my eg cx hatch...the car currently has working a/c...two of my boys who also have eg hatches, have swapped their cars, but they no longer have a/c, presumably because they chose not to take the necessary steps to keep their air coniditioning...
...it is my understanding, that even with the b16 dropped, it is still possible for me to still have a/c, but i need some sort of different mount or somethin like that?...ive searched but couldnt find what i was looking for...i have the complete b16 swap, but what do i need other than what i have already, to allow me to continue to have a/c in my hatch? any help is greatly appreciated...thanks...

 

u will need the B16 AC mount that mounts to the front of the block on the drivers side... i dont know if ur AC compressor will mount up to it or not tho casue i dont have AC and only know about the mount

 

From my understanding, any B-series mount will work. LS mounts are quite common.

 

so anybseries ac mount?(preferably b16 just to be safe)...thats all i need for the ac to work w/ the swap put in?...

 

You didn't search, I answered the exact same question not only two days ago.

You need the mount from a Del Sol VTEC, then you can use your d-series AC.
