Bouncy / Jearky clutch engagement and / or throttle
yes I can drive standard, I didnt suddenly get worse at it
When I let off the clutch to start off or during a hard shift I get a fair bit of bounce / jearkyness, much more than I used to, similar things happen when the throttle is blipped in gear.
I guess I could have gotten worse at driving standard, but I seriously doubt it.
I'm thinking my motor mounts might be on the ***** or my clutch springs have weakened considerably. It really feels like the engine is rocking considerably, but obviously I cant check cuase I cant hang around infront of the hood with the engine under load.
The car is still drivable but its getting to be a PITA, its an entry level luxury car that drives like a shitbox civic.

i have the exact same thing happening in my 92 gs-r. it doesn't do it all the time though, which is weird. i'm taking it into the shop soon to get it looked at. from what i've noticed it seems like the clutch on my car, but i could be wrong.
if it's not engaging smoothly, maybe you clutch is going?
don't know for sure, but that would be my guess. jerking caused by the clutch grabbing and slipping before it get's a solid grip

My 94 gsr does it as well....my car only seems to do it when my motor is semi cold...especially in the mornings when I'm leaving my house for work. I made a post about this a while back...people were thinking it was "clutch chatter". My clutch only has about 70k on it....and this bouncy/jerky thing started happening when my clutch had only 60k on it.

Thanks for the replies guys, keep em comming.
I dont think its the clutch, as if I engage it hard it doesnt slip, it just engages with a staisfying JERK forward; no bounce.
I have managed to have it slip once but I believe it was because my friend overheated it by badly revmatching a few times.

mine does the same thing, it doesn't slip at all or bounce other than in first gear. if i shift hard it just jerks hard. i started a thread about this and one guy said it was the clutch springs going out. so when i take it to the shop next week i guess i will know for sure.
