No it will not fit. Their are no studs for it to attach to.

yes it will fit. there are two stickers on the inside of the strut tower bar where the studs would go if you had them. remove the stickers and put the strut tower bar on using bolts / washers and lock nuts.

IMPORTANT: Please make sure you have these 2 studs sticking out as shown in the green highlighted box, if you don't have this, you can't install this item.

Not trying to jack your thread, but with other bars like the Spoon Sports, are the extra studs shown in the picture above needed. I had the type-s bar and couldnt install it b/c of those studs, and I returned it. I need to know what actually bolts right on.

its done every singe day with ITR bars. call a reputable shop and they can confirm it. or PM "the tea-father". he can confirm it.

The guys at ICB put that there to remove any liability for returns etc. if you are that concerned about it go to an acura dealership and buy the studs for an ITR and put them in place. if you notice on that pic its a US vehicle. you can see where they removed stickers and put the studs in themselves.

the type S bar is the only one that needs those studs. all others should mount directly to the strut tower using the top hat nuts.

It can be done but its not recommended because the US suspension mounts will no longer fit flush. I used to have the bar but it was a direct fit for my 5 lug JDM mounts. Spoon bars will fit either the US or JDM mounts due to having holes for 4 lugs.

I've got the Type-S STB on my '98 SH.

I have the Mugen suspension. It comes with the bolts that you need to go through those holes. The bolts are a part of the top cap on the Mugen suspension.

I am extremely happy with both!

Or you could buy the Prelude Type S Strut Mount. I saw the website that sell a pair for like $30 or so before. I forgot the link.
