Which year civic and motor?

Pretty new to honda's in general. I want to buy a civic sometime this month and was wondering which engine would be best for a all motor civic? I plan on doing some local trackdays with it also. Or if anyone is selling a pretty clean civic with a engine swap and setup properly let me know please. I am in socal and am waiting for my other car to sell so I can finally get one of these. Sorry for my ignorance.
