Default Ran Lean on d15b7 need answers please!

k guys yesterday when i tried to go pick up my mom from the airport.. i turned my car on and went on my way... like a block later my car seems like bogging out real real bad... so i head back on to a 24/h autozone where my friend works and he checks out my car.. i just recently installed an adjustable fpr(because i was running to rich, had to turn down psi)the car has been running so great for a month till today...so he checks out the guage and its reading like 10 psi with vacuum on and im like WTF?, so he adjusts it back to 40 psi(with vacuum off of course) so then i try to crank it and it takes like say 5 secs to start up finally... when it used to be like 1 sec.. so car ran fine i was feeling ok cuz nothing was wrong... or so i thought... now today i get off of work and try to crank it and it took 10 sec now.. plus my car ran like crap.. now im wondering was running that lean for .. lets say 3 min mess up something internally? cuz right now im paranoid hoping my motor doesnt blow up.. thx H-T please tell me whats wrong

just a thought, but did you happen to fill up your last tank of gas with a different (higher or lower) octane? could be faulty plugs, too.

It's not like your B7 is making an asston of power, and you probably weren't at WOT at high RPM when it was running lean, if you were even running lean at all. You may have a bad fuel pump, it's been known to happen on older Hondas... especially Accords, but it happens to Civics too. I would suggest to buy the fuel pressure tester (unless your friend lets you borrow it), go to a junk yard and pull a stock FPR off any B or D series Honda engine from 88-00 and put it on your car to see what's going on.
