Default Got tire changed now a noise

I just got my rear tire replaced due to hitting a nail. Well i pick it up from the shop right before they closed because that was the only time i could get there. well anyway im riding home and there is this weird noise sounds like its comming from the rear sprocket like something is rubbing . I checked all the bolts on the sprocket, as well as the axle nut and they were fine but i have no clue what the noise is. Any thoughts of what it is

Is your chain too loose? Check the slack on it. Once, my chain was clanging against my exhaust. I don't think your bike has the exhaust routed near the chain, but you never know...

Go over the back end completely, fxckin bike shops are staffed by morons 90% of the time. Could be chain tension could be a loose mount or something else very bad. Had a mate years ago who had his rear caliper fall of after they left it loose, totaled his RG500. They got taken for a lot of money but thats not the point.

If a jobs worth doing its worth doing yourself.

How about the tire itself? Seems unlikely, but if they put the wrong one on/did some bad stuff to it, it could be rubbing.

I did the same thing myself once and saw metal shavings near the axle, I think I put something back on the wrong order but anyway you want to check that out before riding anywhere else.
