Default About to buy a bb6?

Where are some really good sites to buy some aftermarket performance parts like some sprins, cf lips, exhuast, and intake. Looking for good part sites not crap. Looked a password jdm and they don't have much for the bb6 so just wondering if anyone knows.

what do u expect out of ur car?

if u want minimal gains or have little money to spend..ebay cai + k&n filter..megan header with a collector mod. and 2.5 inch piping will do for u. if u want big numbers, be ready to spend like 800 or so on ur header..PnP..stage 3 cams..sleeved block with higher compression yadda yadda.

let us know what u want to do with ur car.

i want it to be quick and willing to spend money on good parts, but it will be daily driven so moderate quickness is the only factor.

rmf header. bump up compression to 12.5(forged pistons and rods with a sleeved block). hondata s200 with a full dyno tune. PnP. stage 3 cams. new valves, valvesprings, and retainers. free flowing 2.5 inch exhaust.

ill say that will run u..4000? give or take a few.

forgot to add suspension...

koni yellows and gc's on custom rates.

u can always go on the bottle and run a 50 shot.

figure out what ur doing..boost or NA. they are completely seperate. the mods wont work with each other at all. besides valve job.

i don't know if i want to go that far as of right now, just trying to map out a decent bolt on set-up for the car, and have had way to much invollvement with boosted honda's and want nothing to do with that until i have more funds again in a couple years. How about a greddy header, apexi n1 exhuast, and does j's make an intake for the preludes?

a built block alone with run you close to 3k. Expect to pay another 4k for a complete top end build. The port and polish can run you close to 1k by itself. Then 1k+ (depending on what you go with) on tuning and engine management.

i like my RMF header tho. I'm working on getting all my CEL's fixed before i go to a dyno and get some numbers for it. I just replaced my IACV and fixed that CEL and now i gotta work on my knock sensor code. After that, a tune will come on the vafc and peeps will know what an RMF header does on a stock motor with full exhaust.
