Default Starter wont work, car has power

99 civic si with b18a1 block + stock head. with the exception of a few gauges, an ebc, and a stereo the wiring is stock. p28 ecu with uberdata.

The car was just working, I was trying to switch plugs around to get rid of CEL 20 (Electronic Load Detector). I had my friend start the car to see if a CEL was going to pop. He clicked the ignition into on and the starter clicked once then made no noise. The starter makes no noise anymore. The starter showed (shows?) no signs of going out.

Is there a picture or list of grounds in the engine bay? I found no such diagram in the helms.

Jump the starter to see if it works first.

tap on the starter it might be stuck, or check the wiring on the starter itself, the spade terminal might have fell off

got it taken care of. the Battery, CEL, and OIL lights were all VERY VERY dim. by fixing the transmission ground they all brightened up to norm, and the car started right on up.

the car idles fine, bt any time i stab the throttle or something to that effect, the car will hesistate bog and then throw code 78. i'm posotive i'm not counting wrong. any help would be appreciated.

right inbetween #2 and #3 on the back of the block, closest to #2, right at the surface of the deck, there is a sensor. it is not connected to anything but the block, it is black, and it has one pin. i'm assuming its the Knock sensor.

on the b18a1, on the blocked off coolant passage (the one for a block heater) on the same side, back of the block closest to #2, there is a sensor. On the b18a1 there is a sensor that fills the spot instead of that large allen plug. could the fact that my knock sensor is plugged into that be my problem, even though i have the knock sensor disabled in uberdata?

ok so i put stock injectors back in and the stock ecu and started and drove the car, afr readings were safe and ok. no cel for about 1-2min then knock sensor popped. so i limped home and tried to figure a way to make my obdII ecu not trip out about the knock sensor. for some reason the 78 only pops when i use uberdata and not crome. so back to crome (i couldn't get my car to start w/ crome and 1000cc injectors, but uberdata works great w/ em.. i must be missing somethinga bout crome?) now that i have stock injectors i should be able to work it.

somehow between two days ago when i drove it with the stock ecu and yesterday when i tried to start it again w/ crome the injector seals became damaged and in a very short amount of time lots of fuel was dumped onto the ground. so now i have to go get new seals from honda today, i assume.

still dont konw whats up with the cel 78? i need more time w/ my running car and crome to find out if this is a conversion harness or ecu problem, or what. maybe it will pop with the obd2 ecu if i give it enough time??
