can i use civic alternator in my prelude? or a junkyard alt?

go to autozone and u can trade ur's in and get one for like 60 bucks or so

 

i have a 3rd gen ('89). how much you want if it will fit in mine?

 

What are you talking about 60 bucks? I found that an accord 90-93 would be a direct fit (except you need a nut and a longer bolt) and its cheaper than the prelude one at ~99bucks + core charge of like 50, so it comes to 150! Even if I get the core charge back how do you figure 60 for an autozone alternator?
