Default jdm h22a balance shaft

I have a h22a turbo setup in my 92 honda prelude A friend of mind was telling me that I should remove the balancer shaft belt to prevent having a spon bearing is that a good idea or not have anyone done this??????????

i don't think your friend knows wtfhe is talking about, if it would spin bearings, you think honda engineers would put it in the equation?

he believes the bearings aren't ment to spin so fast thats why I should take the belt off cause in a turbo car the bearing spin faster then there suppost to.

you'll put more stress on the engine, im not too sure about making them spin any faster

how do they spin faster? are you revving to 20k rpm now or osemthing?

HAHAHAHAHAHHA. This is funny. Unless you're revving higher, you're not spinning them faster. So to answer your question...

NO , Your friend is full of crap.

And if you're actually revving higher. You still don't have to worry about them.

Yeah, feel free to remove the balancer belt - frees up a tiny bit of power/inertia. But on or off, it's completely irrelevant to any bearings.
