Ya it's a slow street car for sure! I have faith in Chris, though 9.0 passes are far away, chris is a trouper and going for the points race at the end of the season.
I was wondering if it was Paul, that 9.4 run in Bristol was with a bad launch. That is a big *** turbo on there.
It is hard to compare a jetta to a supra though, come on they shouldn't be in the same class. It is awesome to watch Chris beat up on some of the supras though.

the previous 6speed record was a 9.2 with wotm's supra. efantis ran that time last night. At the last nopi event chris was up against efantis for the first round of eliminations and efantis went 9.4@156 (and this was his first outting with the car).

i seen it on supra-forums last night, i must say that's pretty crazy. sucks cause the class was paired up pretty good, at best I think I could go a .50 but .00 never, i can only hope he doesn't do it every pass or he pulls a light like he did in TN.
it said somewhere hes running a 88mm@ 45psi with the setup i would say 1300-1500whp. i mean 3620lbs@167 god damn.

I have faith in Mr. Green as he has never quit no matter how tuff things got, he is the only person i know that just wont stop until he gets it, and i think with enough time and some of his ideas he will deff step it up.

Really, your car against rwd 6 cyl. cars just isn't right. Even if you did make 1300hp like them, what are you gonna do with it? lol Put 26's on the car and run with the turbo 4 guys. I bet nobody would have a problem with that. I understand it's not your call though. Get everybody together and beg for their acceptance and then go to nopi. After all, when you step down to 26's you're gonna hate it with all that torque! lol

I witnessed a high horse power vw on 26's this past weekend. All you heard down the whole track was rev limiter. Blew the tires off in every gear. I think Chris in T4 would be cool.
**** just right t4 on window...no will ever no there is an inline 6 in there....just paint to wires black.....now....my 2 cents. vw makes a 4cylinder...haha..

Get that 5 bar map sensor in the car, and maybe some sort of other management than SDS and maybe you'll be able to somehow figure out to make more power on the top end and hook out of the hole, damn VR6 torque is killer.
How about trying a long tubular header to get rid of some torque?

I’d like to see Chris run with the T4 cars. Like Tony said it’s just not fair for him to have to compete with the RWD guys in the T6 class. A class like SFWD/T4 that allowed both four and six cylinder entries could be the next big thing. I think that it would definitely provide some very interesting match ups.
