Nice, if I didn't have sliders my bike would've been totaled.

Black sliders on black bike. Yummy.

Hope you never have to test your sliders.

I did a little research before i ordered, I saw many pictures of bikes that had gone down with various sliders, cut, no cut, delrin, and other materials. Every bike that i saw a pic of that went down with graves no cut sliders on, looked amazing. Amazing in the sense that even at 60+ mph lowsides, there were a couple scratches on the tank, and lights were a little bent or busted. Some of the aluminum and metal sliders i saw, totalled the bike by catching on the surface of the road, and flipping the bike.....doing more damage than help.

Install was simple. i paid a little over $100 for the frame sliders and the clutch saver, then $16 for a replacement puck for when i do go down, i think its the cheapest insurance a person could purchase.

I highly recommend!!

I cant imagine your saying that from experience, unless you have 12 inch legs, severly slanted inward ankes, and feet the size of a AA battery?

It's tough, but not as tough as keep your legs on rearsets for 2 or 3 hours.

i rest my feet on my sliders when i get tired too, plus the engine heat doesn't kill your legs either from up there.

If the bike were to fall it will fall/slide on the SLIDERS therefore protecting the fairings/handlebars/etc. Because fixing all that **** is really expensive.

Sorry to get off topic but what are some good brands for sliders for a 01-03 F4i?

technically frame sliders are meant to protect the frame, but yes they can save plastics and such as well in a low speed crash.
