Tornado? Has anyone tried it cause that damn infomercial about sold me.
Has anyone done some dyno runs with the tornado? if so could you please post them. Maybe it was because of smoke, but that guy made me want to buy a tornado and spin my air around. I always see the same questions posted so i wanted to see something else.
The dyno run on the infomercial was done on a real old style dyno. The before and after dynos cannot be compared because what they don't tell you is that they are pulled in different gears. I wouldn't waste money on a POS such as the tornado
How much does this Tornado cost? If it's cheap enough I say someone buy it for the hell of it and try it out. Hell, if it's cheap enough, I'll do it!

wasn't this something like 50 bucks or something...er wait...I think its 4 easy payments of 19.95. lol
Anyways, I wouldn't bother with that POS.

I actually tried something very similar. (Yes, boys and girls, he just admitted to buying one!)
Anyway, it was useless so I returned it and got my money back. FWIW, this was a couple of years ago on a different car.

Tell me this, why would you do all kinds of mods to increase airflow and decrease restrictions, etc. and then go put this big fat restriction right in your intake pipe???
Your answer should be clear.

if an aftermarket intake barely gives you gains what makes you think a POS piece of plastic is gonna do?
I've heard that turbulance in the intake pipe actually hinders performance. Its all a gimmick. Seems more convincing than that Air Twister thing a while ago but i wouldnt buy it.
yea its a waste, my grandma bought one for here BMW, and i couldnt tell a differance, but she swore by the damn thing
I've actually seen that E-Ram thing before. It was accompanied by some calculations that showed it wasn't capable of turning fast enough to actually boost power. That, and if electric superchargers worked that well, why don't we see more of them?
A while back my brother and I tried something very similar called Spiralmax. We got the things UPS and when we opened the package we couldn't believe that these guys could be serious. All it was, was a stainless steel little fan like thing that you stick in your intake hose. It warped everytime you tried to get it in the intake because it was such crappy metal. They had a 30 day money back guarantee, and I sent them back. Neither my brother nor I saw any increase in horsepower or fuel efficiency. He has a 1990 Toyota Celica GT. These things are a complete gimmick, don't waster your time or money. If the Tornado is anything like SPiralmax, its a POS.
Not worth it. Its a gimmick.. and a POS but feel free to get it.
You might as well hand me the $75 bucks over to me. I will get a better use out of it than you.
