Default D16y8 swap HELP

Hello everyone, I just did a D16y8 swap into my 95 civic.
This car had a blown d16z6 so i bought this car for only 1 grand.
I took out the d16z6 and took my d16y8 out of my old wrecked car and swap it.
When i did the swap i used the d16z6 tranny and wiring hardness and coverted it to OB1.
Now when i turn on the car it idles at 1500rpm and makes a sound that sounds like womp womp.
So i was messing with the plugs and i unplug the plug that plugs on top of the intake manifold. And when i unpluged it the idle drops to about 800rpm so i plug it back in and it idles fine. Until you turn off the car it goes back to the 1500rpm problem.
also my CEL turns on.
Anyone have any ideas whats wrong with it.
I heard alot of good things about this site so please help me out.
Thanks -John-

note: if i put this in the wrong sections please move to correct section. thanks

That sensor is your MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor. Find out what code your ECU is throwing and we will go from there. It will be a 3 or 5 if I'm not mistaken. This sounds like a MAP problem to me though. Just check the code and we will go from there. Most likely in the wiring though..

Ok guys i really need your help.
I just check my codes and im comming up with a code 14 which should be my IAC vavle.
I have a d16y8 with an automatic tranny manifold(atm) but now im 5spd. using a d16z6 wiring hardness and ecu.
On the the ATM the IAC has 3 pins and is on the Throttlebody the d16z6 obd1 has 2 pins to the IAC and is on the manifold.
Is there a way to make the 2 pin system work on a 3 pin iac??

Thanks for your help. John
