I KNOW ITS BEEN COV. NEED RE-ASSURANCE
Last night we were prepping the B18A1 from 92 teg, i have mount kit, linkage, obd0
distributor, everything i need.Anyways a buddy and is buddy come over while were working, start talking about the swap, b18a1 in 90 crx si, using cable trans.
He starts teeling me that the swap is harder then i think, i'll have to pound the l.side shock tower for alternator clearance witch i knew, but then he says i'll have to cut a section of the rear cross member, for rear mount bracket clearance, and cut the front cross member for exh. manifold clearance, is this true, can annyone confirm that for me. now im all worried about this, i need someone to tell me for sure.

Depending on what mount kit you use determines what body mods have to be done. I have place racing mounts I notched the front crossmember and made clearance for the alt, its really easy. The hasport kit isnt much different except you notch the rear crossmember, the alt situation is the same. Good luck
This might help pay attetion to engine prep http://www.hasport.com/Tech/Installs/EFB1.htm
