for the people that have an itr conversion how much did it cost you

 

im currently workin on the exterior of my gs-r to look like a type r.

but so far i spent about 300 dollars in parts as listed

type r wing
98 front bumper + lights
Red taillights (Lights are coated Candy Red)

but if your planning going to convert it all type r, such as engine and interior + exterior it would be about 5 - 6k im guessin without JDM front end. you would be better off buying a type r in the first place tho..

 

if you're talking about the JDM front conversion, Search it, there are so0o many threads that can answer that question. i'm not trying to sound like a bitch, just wanted to let you know before people start flaming on you

 

jdm itr front end 2800 including labor sidemoldings shaved 400 itr wing 100 5 lug with rims 1500

and thats not including paint

 

jdm non hid front end parts $1650
championship white + shave side moldings = $1700
jdm red recaro srds $1000

and more coming?

 

Be more specific in your question. Do you mean suspension, engine, exterior, etc.?

it was very costly. Just finding the parts is a task.

You could buy mine and finish it. Just needs the 5 lug and door panels.

ok well you need to be more specific!

you know usdm itr did not come with the same front end. your post and title is really confusing.

USDM or JDM?

I did the USDM conversion:

98+ Front End
98+ Rear Bumper
98+ ITR lip
Shaved Side moldings
Shaved Rear emblems
Shaved wing holes (dont really like ITR wings)
Paint matched side skirts
Full Chapionship White Paint.

Id say it cost around $3,500
Parts and paint included.

non hid jdm front end is about 1500, 1600 but if ur going to get that get the metal one

 

got mine with hids and cf hood parted together for 1900. takes time and patients and alot of browsing

for $3,300 i got the exact same thing you got...just with the whole jdm itr non-hid conversion...lol

 

ummm....lets see......

jdm front end ( OE bumper, carbon kevlar hood, fiberglass fenders, non hid headlights, core support, bumper extension, top fuel lower lip from V.I.S back in the day ) - $2500 shipped to me

grew some brain cells and got OE fenders - $750 for both

lower lip gone ( more like destroyed )....bought OE lip - $200

bought another cf hood from VIS - $550

bought OE hood brand new - $450 before shipping

bought HID headlights - $750 for the pair before shipping

damn I spent a lot of money!!!!!

I thought it was a good deal considering that they did alot of body work: full body paint, shaved moldings, shaved wing, emblems, removed all the dents, not to mention all the parts were brand new (headlights, signals, bumpers etc.). <U>Check my sig. for pics.</U> I think it looks good for 3.5.
