what cams will make the most power to 8.5k on an all motor(dont want to rev high)

it depends sometime they make power to 8700, but also seen them make power past 9K it all depends on your engine/parts and the way its tuned

?? it can range from 8700 to ........? wow, so skunk2stg2 is the same thing too? i rather go skunk2 stg 2 but i want to know whats is better. when does skunk2 start dropping power.

well, thats what im saying, theyll peak at around 8700rpm-9300 rpm maybe..depending...after that theyll flatten out and drop in power.. so forth.
as far as better cam toda B or skunk stage 2..I cant tell you, but im sure someone here can...I personally have skunk2/2

Besides your 8.5K rev, it will be good to let us know what your set up is like. Especially with cams, what is your compression, is your head pnp'd, what IM, what headers, what motor, etc.
This information will be necessary before a sound opinion could be given....
Toda B's like compression of 12:1+ to make the most use of them. If not, go with stage 1 type cams or milder cams.

b16, ctr piston, stock b16 manifold, stock head, dc header, ported tb. 11.6to1 compression. will just add vavlesprings for vavletrain upgrade(stock retainer thats y 8.5k limit.)
If you are choosing Skunk2, then get the new Pro Series cams. Rocket Motorsports also have great cams.

this setup loves to rev high..past 9K..even with some CTR cams...

get some s2s1's! i have heard that if you dont have that huge bump in compression for the stage 2 cams then the stage 1 cmas actually made more overall power! but if you do have the bump then the stage 2 will benifit more! and if you think about it even if your making power past 8.5 you can always just stop at 8.5 or try and tune more power out at 8.5 and sacrifice 8.5+ which is just that much more top end! good luck!
on 11.1:1 compression my motor made 190/130 peak at 8350 with skunk2 stage 1 cams.
the same motor made with BC 3+ had significant midrange gains with 188/131 peak occuring at 8000 rpm.

stage 1 cams are great cams for those who dont have the time or dont want to fully build their motor and bump up the compression in their motors! as you can see from this ^^^ with the right parts they can make great power!

my skunk2 stage ones made 196 whp and a mid-range peak of 143 wtrq in my stock block ls vtec. i'd say upgrade your valvetrain and grab some pro1 cams, i've got some in the mail hoping to make ~210 whp and 150 wtrq. there's a lot of ppl that believe the spec 3 cams are far superior to the skunk2 stage 1 cams, i feel i did just fine with them
