Default Complete newbie suspension question

Okay so don't flame me cause i have close to no idea what i'm talking about... here goes: oh btw i have a 91 ls integra.......

Is it true that if you lower your car with cheap *** coilovers... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...67491
...and stock struts... your struts will eventually go out?

How much lowering would i want if i want a 3/4" wheel gap?

Thanks!

Yes you will eventually blow your stock struts because they are more compressed now. It is wise to upgrade to a shock that accepts a shorter throw and is designed for lowered suspension.

Why are you buying cheap *** coilovers? IMO if the only reason you are getting them is to have adjustability then you are buying them for the wrong reason. One thing you do not want to skimp on is suspension, you will kick yourself later.

thats not why you blow out stock struts, they go out because the aftermarket springs are siffer and your stock struts are not valved for them, they get overworked...plain and simple
