Well, my HF is almost out of the paint shop and I wanted to ask about the possibility of swapping in an Si tranny.
When I drove the HF for the first time I noticed that the acceleration is pretty bad....I figured maybe it was for fuel economy reasons.....
but anyways,
if I swap in an Si tranny(90) what would be some of the negatives if I decided to go that route? I do want quicker acceleration but I don't wanna hurt my fuel economy that bad. This car will strictly be for daily driving and for long road trips.
The axles are also different right? Anything I am missing?
I did a search and I didnt find any opinions on the good vs bad in swapping in an Si tranny onto an HF motor. Thanks fellas

Hi, go ahead and do it. No matter what u do to a honda, there is no way ur gonna get bad fuel economy!lol! Axles will work <I did this> ...so I do reccomend doing it! its worth it!
honestly if you want MPGs that bad leave it alone little easier way for power and not as much as a loss is just run a DX tranny.
