Can I install a f23 tranny on a f22b1 motor?
I was looking for a little longer gearing on my car since at 80 mph my car is around 3200 rpm where other accords are lower. I just dont want the car to top out as quick on the highway. What do you think....Will it work?
i personally would stay away from that tranny simply because they are notorious for goin out. I have a 2000 LX with the F23 and 80K miles and have had no problems, but I've heard a lot of horror stories.
thats only the auto trannies, and good luck finding a manual f23 tranny...not many of them around
to be honest, crusing at 3200 rpm is not a big deal at all, an theres no 80 mph speed limits anywhere in the US, so just slow your *** down to 70 and live with 2800 rpm
