Default Newbie here, with car problems...88 integra.

Hey everyone!

I'm new here. I have an 88 Integra that I bought to learn how to drive stick shift. Well, I did, and now I just want to drive it all the time, but the car has been acting stupid lately.

I ran the ECUs and I got a code 17, so I want to know what that is. Can anyone here help me with that?

Also, the revolutions vary all the time. When I'm in a light and I first start going, the revolutions go high up to 3000 before the car gets to 20mph. The check engine light goes on and off whenever it feels like it. When the revolutions vary, I feel like a hit from the car, like if it wants to die on me. I just changed the distributor yesterday, and the car still acting stupid. The spark plugs are also new, so I don't know what else to do. Does my problem usually happens to other cars when they have vacuum hoses?

The computer is also new & the crank sensor, and that is still happening. Please help! Any comment will be really appreciated, especially because I'm a newbie.

Thank you!!!!
