but its not working im running obd2 sohc vtec engine harnes and ecu and the ls motor chokes at around 3-4,000 rpms what kind of harnes should i use to run the 98 ls motor

Put ALL wiring back to stock. You will use your stock harness for this swap. You'll need to extend some wires, but that's about it. Check the link in my sig for more information.
