Default 5th gen rear sway ber removal question

How do you remove the endlinks? When I looked at them it seemed to require a 17mm open ended wrench for the nut, and some sort of allan/hex wrench to hold the bolt that comes from the endlink/rod end. I say some sort of allan/hex wrench becasue a 5mm was too small, and a 6mm was too large; is it really 5.5mm? Once I can get this, I can finally install the progress sway, with my own endlinks. Thanks for any info. Oh, and it's number 16 in the pic below.
