b20/vtec question
I got a b20/vtec. It's a b20b block and a b18c1 head. It's got aem cold air, dc 4-1 headers, skunk2 manifold and msd. I was wondering what kind of cams I should get for my kind of setup
I was thinkn either the skunk2 stage 1 cams or stage 2
I was scared that the stage 2 might be a lil too much for my kind of compression.
any ideas?

From: Good luck to this industry, you're gonna need it.
I would make sure whatever you choose isn't going to cause any clearance problems BEFORE you start thinking about stages and what not...I'm in the same boat...and reading up on that myself...
search b20vtec cams and see what happens

without uping your compression you will see minimal gains in horsepower, along with be very dissapointed. the b20 block was not made to rev to the moon, and are somewhat known to crack when at higher rpms. if your planning on going stage 2 cams with around 9k-9500k rpms, i would suggest you sleeve your block. just do a little research like DAantagonist said and find out what other people have done.
