I'm new here and was told this place is the holy grail of honda tuning.
I have 95 lx accord w the external coil. I've checked the search on this site many times and cant get a clear indication on of cause of the rough idle issue. Original engine ran fine (if you exclude the thrown rod). i got a salvage motor w less 100k and used the same manifolds wires etc.... The EGR(came w orig motor) had carbon build up so cleaned it off and no change even unplugged it w no change. Swapped IAC and no change. Checked all the wiring and matches up and good grounding. I couldnt get the timing anymore perfect. It will run at high rpms but dont want to risk test driving until it runs right. Is there a mad honda genius that can chime in? Any help is appreciated
