Help w/ installing auto-dimming rear view mirror for '98-02 accord lx sedan
Hi, I have a 98 accord and I do alot of driving at night and I was thinking about getting some night vision safety mirror. I just bought the mirror and I'm looking to install it tomorrow. So has anyone ever done this before and if so any help or advice to how to install it. There wasn't much information on how to do it and I would like to do it myself. Please help!!!
Thanks

i have installed one from the acura TL in my 99 coupe. You have an LX so i dont think you have a homelink garage door system. What i did was tapped the homelink as a power source. I bought it on handaaccessories.com
I had it on my previous car, a 2000 saab 9 5 aero, which came stock but I lost that car to an accident RIP. It didn't have homelink so I'm wondering they could be another way...
well when it comes stock on a car then most likely the factory has wired a power source. The mounting portion is easy. When I ordered from handa-accessories, it had everything I needed, the trick is to find a power source. Look in that general area to see if you can tap anything...maybe a overhead map light would work
Thanks for all your inputs. I actually found a link to a site with step by step instructions. I just have to find a 12v switch. For anyone else who wants to do this, here's the link:
