yeah, I agree with SpeedFreak77. WD40 is great for an initial lubricant or cleaner but not for extended period of times. White lithium should work. Did you put enough in there and work it into the hinge? Try spraying some directly on the joint of the hinge and move the door back and forth to help work the grease into the joint.
lithium grease worked wonders for me...jsut be sure to get everything really really lubed up...like if you were giving **** to a rabbit, ya know?

Is the hinge dragging or rubbing on the metal cutout? I haven't paid attention to my 94 (got it two weeks ago and it's still sitting beside my jeep) but on my 85 the hinge rubs on the cutout of the door. I used white lithium on it, but of course it's rubbing because of the fatigue from 20 years of wear.
