How many of you have seen this marvel? It is absolutely gorgeous!!!! A friend of mine in Tokyo bought one and sent me a short video of it and this thing is SWEET!!!! The list price there is less than our RSX type-s' here!! WTF!!!
Too bad about the 15 year rule here or I would definately consider it!!!

Idiot??
Been to Japan lately???
His is an O5' and yes the 06' will be released in August!!!
Before you jump the gun to flame do some research!!!!
List price on the 06' is supposed to be 2,750,000.00 yen (approx.)
that converts to approx. 29,500 CDN. (a little less than the Type-s)

To import a vehicle into Canada without major complications it must be to the month exactly 15 years old. My buddy just imported a CR-X SiR glass top and the production date was 01/90 which was just legal for export/import.
hence "15 year rule"

Whoa killer, thats just what i heard..
There is a year rule in the states 15 or 20 that says if the vehicle is that old then it doesnt have to conform to most of the US regulations.

man, that pic resembles how a bunch of new cars look coming out today, including the chevy cobalt i was parked next to lastnight
that is why honda hit a home run with the dc2 chassis imo...its just plain different, beautiful and timeless. think about it, 5 years after the last one rolled of the showroom floor, still the number 1 car stolen? its a terrible distinction, but it tells you something.

Not quite like that. IT actually resembles the RSX more but it has a different body kit and TYPE R badging. I think that one is the concept car from 2002.

timeless? beauty? You have to be kidding.
It's stolen for the swapable parts. It's not stolen because of anything else.

The reason the car is stolen is not because it is beautiful and timeless, but because the parts have good street value, the entire car can be unbolted with a toys-r-us tool set, and almost all parts are interchangable with other, more inexpensive models (civic, etc).
You don't see ferrari's getting stolen because they are beautiful and timeless now do you

I fail to see the excitement....but ok...:cheer:
I have tried to "love" this car.... but after being in Japan for a while seeing both stock/modified ones....driving a stock one.... (it does have an amazing powertrain IMO)
I still feel that it is an unworthy successsor to the DC2-R.... NOT saying the DC2-R is better....(ok maybe I am now....
) but it just lacks ......."DC2-Rness"
.......riiiiight.....after being in Asia for over half a year...my english has been reduced to conjuring up fake beleeeeef words.....
BRING BACK THE DOUBLE WISHBONES....!!

As far as I know we will never see it here as Acura has discontinued it (obviously) but the Honda Integra Type R may eventually show up here, who knows.
There are a lot of rich kids in Calgary that are into the JDM scene and if the are importing R34 skylines I am sure these aren't too far off.
Wishin' I had the bling for one!!!!
