2 Weldon 2025 fuel pumps Maxed out!!!
Not a honda though... lol.
Anyhow i was curious what hp some of you guys were making with a weldon 2025 or two before maxing them out. (on Meth)
We have 2 on a 13b on Meth and there right at the limit already.
It's probably time to go with a mech fuel pump.
If anyone needs these pumps or regulator PM me.

they do have a 16000 series pump you will not max out. I am running one. They weigh 12 lbs though and are loud as hell...oh it draws 50 amps also. You will need there bigger regulator though with the .400 orifice

<<mech is the only way to go with meth.. waterman makes a nice unit. i think there is someone selling a waterman ultra lite in the race car for sale thread>>
Hmmm, sounds familiar - oh yeah.
Waterman Ultralight Mechanical Fuel Pump, #200050 - 4.8 GPM at 4000 pump RPM and 100 psi. Pretty much a race-only piece, for methanol race setups.
Also have three way shutoff valve.
Thanks

I wish waterman made one of those cool adapters like the hondas have to drive off the cam. I would have done it in a heartbeat.
how much horspower does it take to drive a mechanical at 120 psi ?

Shep,
in the video of your drag race, my friend said, "wow at 170 you sure can hear the wind going around the car!" I said, "that's not the wind...that's his fuel pump" hhaahha And I thought twin walbro's were loud. hahaha

Hey Shep, its an honor talking to you. Car is sick.
OK enough swinging,lol.
You may want to contact Earl Laskey and/or NF John about making a Waterman pump mount for your motor. They made the Honda mount not Waterman.
I dont know the answer to your question, but 1) 120 psi is sick! and 2) isnt it great how a mech pump wont ever lose flow at high fuel pressure!
P.S. I just thought of a new sales pitch: "Buy my pump because Turbo Start just went out of business!" haha

If you make an adaptor like that for your car John, you'll have to make sure it attaches to the cam differently. The honda uses a custom bolt that drives the pump off the end of it. Luckily (for once) the honda motor spins backwards, so the resistance from the pump tries to tighten the bolt. On your car it would try to loosen the bolt. You'd have to make an adaptor or something that bolted to the cam gear and had a hex in the middle to drive the pump.
Yes I did think about that. A few guys have made adapters that bolt to the cam but it makes it a fixed setup and any runout would be bad. Your idea about using a bolt on adapter and hex would be perfect. Room for it though may not be possible.
I have someone working on a damper that is pulled closer to the engine so there may be room at the end of the crank for a pulley and just have to run a belt drive.
