Fiberglass rear hatch
Just wanted to share a pic of my new fiberglass rear hatch. It completely replaces the stock hatch in conjunction with a large peice of lexan that I fabricated. I would guess that it saved me at least 50 lbs. or even more. The piece was produced by RPM or Willie Rells Performance. They suck in my opinion, but for reasons other than my hatch piece... i'm satisfied with that. That's a different story though. here's the pic. What do you guys think?

nice, that would help me around the road course, too. get's the rear end out a little more. as for the piece itself, i would want that small rectangle of glass to stay. i really like that glass.
Thanks for all the kind comments guys. The car is a daily driver. The only downside is that the hatch no longer opens. I don't really mind though, I only have one seat in the car, so I use the passenger side for putting bigger stuff in to haul around. The lexan hasn't been all that bad in the cold... it was in the 20's about a week ago where i'm at. I did the corner windows too this weekend.
