GSR brake swap- into eg hatch
i was wondering- what size rotors does a GSR have up front? I am doing a rear disc swap in my 94 hatch, and was wondering if i should swap out the fronts as well? is it really that much more stopping power? Any difference in Calipers?
i think that the front GSR are 10.1 where your hatch is 9 some thing. if you are going to do a break swap then you might as well do the whole 9. front and rear brakes, booster, master cylinder, and proproation valve. just my .02 cents.
i noticed a difference in mine when i upgraded the front. but i also upgraded the rotors to. so not sure if it was the upgrade in itself, or the rotors, or just a combo of both.i love it, that little car stops on a dime now.

i forget what size rotors i beleive its 10.2...yes you should do fronts aswell, yess makes a difference for stopping power...caliper is a lil bigger with gsr

Thanks- for the replys! Now i have the proportion valve- fronts rears, and new Master cylinder- Someone above said i waould also have to replace the bosster? Is that true?
Im going to put my brake conversion on my EG this weekend. The Integra rotors are 10.3" btw. There's no need for a booster if you are using a Civic 15/16" MC. If you are using an Integra RS MC, you'll need that booster. The Integra calipers have a larger piston than an EX with 10.3" rotors. So it's better than a regular hatch caliper.
