1995 Prelude VTEC how much?
I got my red 93 VTEC with 110,000 miles for $6,000. It was a little more than blue book but the car was untouched and only really defect was how crappy the red paint gets.

4th Gen VTEC's only came in 5spd
If it is in good shape, I would pay up to $4000 if it has all the records and all the major service has benn performed on it. If it needs things like an exhaust, axles, timing belt, etc, I would try to get the price down closer to $2800-$3100.

Buyin a car with lots of mods isnt a great idea... I would rather put on what i want. But either way, have a mechanic of yours check it out b4 you buy. Pay close attention to the compression. And dont be afraid to lowball. That is alot of miles.

I agree. Most people who aren't Prelude enthusiasts won't even touch that car because they think the miles are too high. The buyer of this car has the upper-hand.
When I bought my 92 Si 4WS, the guy advertised it for $2000. It needed a lot of work, but everything that it needed was a part that I was going to change anyway. I think he would've accepted anything I offered. I wanted it pretty badly so I offered $1800. When I offered him that much, he immediately said, "ok." That's why I knew I could've gotten it for less. lol

The body is it really good shape, the paint is in pretty good condition. Mechanical wise all I really need to do is do the timing belt, thats pretty much it. It runs great, hits vtec when its suppose to. I'll post some pictures for you guys when I get my digital camra back. But the color is Azure Blue Green Pearl. And VTEC only comes in a five speed manual trans. Uh well, thats pretty much it I guess Ill take some pictures for you guys and post it up as soon as possible.
Oh yeah, and what made me want the car was because it has a h22a, thats JDM according to my reshearch. Oh, and another thing was the owner just bought some new tires, haha I know. I am a cheapo. But everything is stock, everything everything. Only thing is he clear cornered the lights and the blinker lights but it does have jdm fog lights.
Two resources that will help you a biiig deal in negociating a price ..
www.kbb.com - look up list value (private and what a dealer will pay)
www.carfax.com - look up vehicle history for past problems / accidents
.. when you go check out the car .. look on the trim for paint over spray and find out why its been repainted and make sure they did a good job. Most cases itll prob. be because of accidents or theft ..

IIRC, a H22A is not JDM. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Don't all USDM VTEC models have the H22A?
JDM is H22A1 or something?</TD></TR></TABLE>
You just got it reversed, we have the H22a1 in the USDM 4th gens, and the JDM 4th gen lude r0ck$ d4 /\/\4d t!6#t H22A
