tried searching but not much found.

question: 68mm skunk 2 tb worth 275$ for my setup or no?

setup:
b16 w/ ctr intake cam
4-1 dc sport headers / catback
s2 im

send your stock one to maxbore he does good work for $100. he can bore it bigger then type r.

nope. either get the stock one bored out, or spend that same amount of bread on a good 70mm/72mm.

What's your reasoning for going even bigger when a 68mm TB already is too big for this setup? Getting the stock one bored out a couple of mm's i plenty for a 1.6liter setup.

no special reasoning. just more air. let the engine breathe a bit better. yes, some think it's overkill.
but yes, you're right, a 68mm will work just fine. they all cost the same though, so why not get a bigger one if you can tune for it?

the skunk one isnt not very good anyway i have seen at least 5 of these just hang open... on numerous accounts i recommend just having the stock one bored out or buying a type r or jg edelbrock one

Yea i think the Maxbore would be the way to go..I believe he can bore it out to 64mm which is plenty for a b16.He can also portmatch ur IM if its not already bigger.
