yes you could chip your 92 gsr obd 1 ecu. The performance gain depending on what have you done to your motor and what program in the new chip. Most of time the more mods the more HP gain with chip ecu.

no don't do it. Trust me as a tuner those chips provide unhealthy gains. I've looked at some of the maps they have out there some of them are OK, but some are garbage. Get it professionally tuned and you'll see better power gains.

I also doubt you felt performance gains in his car. You are talking about a couple HP no more. A real tune with hondata or Uberdata can let you see 5-7whp and that you can notice and it's safer

I use JUN program chip p72 ecu in my ALL Motor civic that put me in 11s secends. So I will not say ALL the chip on the market is no good....BUT if you able spend some more money for a FULLY tunable ecu will be the best idea.

if u still hv the stock gsr p61, then i highly recommend NOT chipping that rare ecu. b17a motor is rare and known to be unique coz its not-too-high compression ratio(but still fast) and it's ultra-short gear ratio. if u only hv bolt-ons, like I/H/E and some blah.....then remain the stock virgin ecu coz the fuel map is designed for that kind of horsepower range. u should only consider chipping it if u hv internal engine work done i.e. cams...pistons...port....all these mods with flow improvement require more aggresive fuel map to utilize horsepower. hope this help.

1992 integra gsr B17A---I/H/E, no cat, fr & fpr, s2 IM, DH racing pulley, stage 1 clutch and 8lbs flywheel, removed pass. seat and donut & tools. 195-60-14@18 psi
14.63@94 2.35 60ft I weight 262 lbs
